Eligibility
*Pass in HSC/ISC (10+2) with mathematics, physics and chemistry with a PCM average of not less than 60% also should obtain 50% in English either in 10th or 12th Std Exam. Candidates are selected as per DGS Guide Lines.*PASS in IMU CET is mandatory
Age Limit
Age limit on the date of commencement of course: Minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years on the date of commencement of course.
Physical Standards
All candidates should be physical fit for the sea service. As per M.S (Medical Examination for seafarers) Rules 2000 as amended from time to time. Also, final selection will be subject to medical fitness as per DGS Guide Lines.
Eyesight standard:
6/6 in each eye without visual aids, Normal colour vision.
